The XC6192 series Power Load Switch from Torex is designed for battery-operated devices, featuring a high-side switch that can be activated by a push button. It operates within an input voltage range of 2.5V to 6.0V and has a low standby current of 0.01OºA, making it suitable for applications where battery life is critical. The device includes an output capacitor inrush current limiting function to prevent excessive current during startup, as well as short-circuit protection that automatically turns off the power supply in case of a fault. The XC6192 series is available in two types: Type A allows for forced shutdown via the push button, while Type B requires a signal to the SHDN pin for shutdown. The operating temperature range is -40¬8C to 85¬8C, and the device is packaged in a USP-8B06 format. Applications include wearable devices, mobile devices, and various button-equipped devices.
