The THAT 340S14-U is a monolithic transistor array in an SO-14 package containing two matched NPN and two matched PNP transistors. It is designed for low-noise applications such as microphone preamplifiers and log/antilog amplifiers, with a typical voltage noise density of 0.8 nV/√Hz for the NPN devices and 0.75 nV/√Hz for the PNP devices. The NPN transistors have a typical current gain (hFE) of 100 and a gain-bandwidth product of 350 MHz, while the PNP transistors have a typical hFE of 75 and a gain-bandwidth product of 325 MHz. Device matching is within 500 μV for V_BE and ±0.5% for current gain. The transistors are dielectrically isolated for low crosstalk and high DC isolation. The maximum collector-emitter voltage is 36 V for NPN and -36 V for PNP, with an operating temperature range of -40 to +85 °C.
