The ULN2004A is a high-voltage, high-current Darlington transistor array featuring seven NPN Darlington pairs, each rated for 500mA collector current and capable of switching up to 50V. Each channel includes integrated common-cathode clamp diodes for inductive load suppression. The device supports direct interface with CMOS logic at supply voltages of 6V to 15V due to a 10.5kΩ series base resistor. It is available in a 16-pin PDIP package measuring 19.30mm × 6.35mm and operates over a temperature range of -20°C to 70°C.
