The TPS2831D is a MOSFET driver for synchronous-buck power stages, available in a 14-pin SOIC package. It features a 2.4-A peak output current, operates over a 4.5-V to 15-V supply voltage range, and includes adaptive dead-time control, ENABLE, SYNC, and CROWBAR functions. The low-side driver is enabled only when SYNC is high. The device supports an internal Schottky bootstrap diode and provides 50-ns maximum rise/fall times and 100-ns maximum propagation delay with a 3.3-nF load. It operates over a virtual junction temperature range of −40°C to 125°C.
