The TPS2226DBR is a power distribution switch designed for managing power in applications such as notebook and desktop computers, bar code scanners, digital cameras, and set-top boxes. It supports fully integrated VCC and Vpp switching for 3.3 V and 5 V, with the capability to disable 5 V and 12 V supplies independently. The device features TTL-logic compatible inputs, short-circuit and thermal protection, and operates over a temperature range of -40¬8C to 85¬8C. It has a typical quiescent current of 140 ¬µA from a 3.3 V input and employs break-before-make switching to prevent short circuits during operation.
