The TLE2084 is a quad high-speed JFET-input operational amplifier from Texas Instruments, designed to provide enhanced performance over traditional BiFET operational amplifiers. It features a bandwidth exceeding 10 MHz and a slew rate of 45 V/µs, which are more than double the specifications of the TL07x and TL08x series. The amplifier operates with supply voltages up to ±19 V, allowing for a wider dynamic signal range. On-chip zener trimming of offset voltage ensures improved accuracy in DC-coupled applications. The TLE2084 is pin-compatible with lower performance BiFET amplifiers, facilitating upgrades in existing designs without significant redesign efforts. It is particularly suitable for interfacing with high-impedance sensors and low-level AC signals due to its high input impedance and superior AC response. The device is fully specified for operation at ±15 V and ±5 V, and while it is optimized for dual power supply configurations, it can also be used in single-supply applications with appropriate DC biasing. The TLE2084 is available in multiple package options, including a 16-SOIC configuration.
