The TL16PNP100APT is a standalone plug-and-play (PnP) controller designed for use in I/O applications. It supports the PnP autoconfiguration process, allowing it to configure itself by isolating and assigning card-select numbers to connected PnP cards. The device decodes a 10-bit I/O address location with programmable block sizes of 1, 2, 4, 8, or 16 bytes and maps interrupts to six outputs (IRQ3,ÄìIRQ7 and IRQ9). It features a simple 3-terminal interface for connecting to SGS-Thomson EEPROMs (2K/4K ST93C56/66 or equivalent), allowing for shared access with another controller through a 3-state output.
