Texas Instruments High-Performance Analog FIFOs Memory SN74ACT7805-40DL

The SN74ACT7805-40DL is a 256-word by 18-bit clocked FIFO memory designed for buffering asynchronous data paths with clock rates up to 67 MHz and access times of 12 ns. It features free-running read and write clocks that can operate asynchronously or coincidentally, allowing for flexible data handling. The FIFO includes input-ready and output-ready flags synchronized to their respective clocks, as well as half-full and programmable almost-full/almost-empty flags for status monitoring. This device supports bidirectional data buffering without the need for additional logic when two units are configured together. It is characterized for operation within a temperature range of 0¬8C to 70¬8C and is packaged in a shrink small-outline package with 25-mil center-to-center spacing.
