The LP3985ITLX-2.5 is a micropower, low-noise, ultra low-dropout CMOS voltage regulator designed for portable and wireless applications. It provides a stable output of 2.5V with a maximum output current of 150mA, making it suitable for battery-powered systems. The device features a low dropout voltage of 100mV at full load and consumes less than 1.5¬µA in shutdown mode, which helps prolong battery life. This regulator is stable with a small 1¬µF ceramic or high-quality tantalum output capacitor, allowing for compact circuit designs with a total application area of less than 2.0mm x 2.5mm.
