Texas Instruments LP2985-N Micropower 150 mA Low-Noise Ultra Low-Dropout Regulator in SOT-23 and micro SMD Packages LP2985ITP-2.8/NOPB

The LP2985-N is a micropower, low-noise, ultra-low-dropout voltage regulator capable of delivering up to 150 mA of output current. It operates within an input voltage range of 2.5V to 16V and provides a fixed output voltage range of 1.2V to 5.0V with an output accuracy of ¬±0.5%. The device features a low quiescent current of 71 OºA at no load and 750 OºA at full load, along with a shutdown current of 1.12 OºA. It exhibits low output noise of 30 OºV RMS when used with a 10 nF bypass capacitor and has a high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) of 70 dB at 1 kHz and 40 dB at 1 MHz. The LP2985-N includes built-in protection features such as output current limiting and thermal protection, and it is stable with a minimum output capacitance of 2.2 ¬µF. The device is packaged in a compact 5-pin SOT-23 (DBV) package, making it suitable for applications in low-voltage microcontrollers, mobile radios, and various consumer electronics.
