Texas Instruments Voltage Regulators - Linear LM79L12ACMX

The LM79L12ACMX is a 3-terminal negative voltage regulator from the LM79LXXAC series, designed to provide a fixed output voltage of -12V with a maximum output current capability of 100mA. It features a preset output voltage error of less than ¬±5% under overload, line, and temperature variations. The device exhibits excellent transient response and is specified for maximum line regulation of 0.07% VOUT/V and maximum load regulation of 0.01% VOUT/mA. This regulator includes built-in protection features such as short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown, and safe operating area circuitry to limit output transistor power dissipation.
