The LM5100B is a high-voltage gate driver designed to independently drive high-side and low-side N-channel MOSFETs in synchronous buck or half-bridge configurations. It provides a 2A peak output current and features CMOS input thresholds. The device supports bootstrap supply voltages up to 118V DC, offers propagation times of 25 ns typical, and includes under-voltage lockout on both power rails. It is available in the SOIC-8 package, measuring 4.9 mm × 3.9 mm, and is pin compatible with the HIP2100. An integrated high-voltage diode charges the bootstrap capacitor, and the output drives a 1000 pF load with 8 ns rise and fall times.
