The CD40109BPWRE4 is a unidirectional voltage level translator designed for shifting signals between different voltage levels. It features four circuits within a single channel and is housed in a 16-lead thin shrink small-outline package (TSSOP). This device does not require the high-voltage supply (VDD) to be present before applying the low-voltage supply (VCC) or input signals, allowing for flexible power sequencing. The input signal can swing between ground and at least 0.7 VCC, and the device can operate with VCC exceeding VDD, functioning as a high-to-low level shifter in such cases.
