The CC1100ERTKT is a low-power sub-GHz RF transceiver IC designed for wireless applications operating in the 470-510 MHz and 950-960 MHz ISM/SRD bands. It is particularly suitable for ultra-low-power wireless sensor networks, home and building automation, and advanced metering infrastructure. The transceiver features high sensitivity of -112 dBm at 1.2 kBaud and low current consumption of 15.5 mA in receive mode. It supports programmable output power up to +10 dBm and offers a configurable data rate ranging from 1.2 to 500 kBaud. The CC1100ERTKT includes a highly configurable baseband modem that supports various modulation formats, including 2-FSK, GFSK, MSK, OOK, and flexible ASK shaping. It also provides extensive hardware support for packet handling, data buffering, and burst transmissions. The device is controlled via an SPI interface and features separate 64-byte transmit and receive FIFOs, enabling efficient data transmission.
