Universal modular jack assembly, 4 or 6-conductor, with ivory plastic face plate. Can be utilized to mount a wall telephone or as a flush mounted wall jack for use with desk telephones. Includes two screw type slotted posts, which are required when the unit is used to mount a wall telephone, and two plastic hole plugs when used as a flush jack. Also furnished are screws for attaching the unit to a standard outlet box. Each unit is equipped with an insulation piercing terminal block and quick connect wire retaining clips which hold the conductors in place. The need for special tools, such as the AT797, for wire insertion is eliminated. The entire terminal block assembly is protected by an insulating plastic cover.
