PDU create several branch circuits from a single high voltage/high current power connection. This allows fewer
power connections to be delivered to each rack or cabinet. It also provides better power protection than power strips
because power problems can be more easily isolated at the PDU. Use PDU for direct connection of large, high power
equipment or with power strips to distribute power on the rack or cabinet.
