Techsil¬Æ Silicone Pigment Jet Black (50gm) is a finely ground concentrate suspended in a silicone fluid, supplied as a soft semi-paste. It features superb color density and is designed for easy mixing, ensuring that the color will not leach out. This pigment is compatible with all silicones and has a specific gravity greater than 1.00. The recommended mix ratio is between 0.1% and 10% by weight, although higher percentages may be necessary for certain applications. For optimal performance, it is advised to stir the pigment before use to prevent separation. When used with two-component silicones, the pigment should be added after the catalyst has been mixed with the base material. The product has a shelf life of 12 months when stored in unopened containers below 25¬8C.
