Techsil® RTV 2420 is a two-component condensation cure RTV Silicone with 20A Shore hardness. RTV2420 offers a high tear strength and is generally used with Beta 7 Catalyst. Techsil® RTV2420 is a beige general purpose mold making compound. Once cured, RTV2420 is an exceptionally flexible rubber with very high mechanical properties and good shelf life stability. It is suitable for mold making of intricate patterns with extremely good pick up of fine details. Softer grades are better suited for use where there are deep undercuts. RTV2420 offers goods dimensional stability and easy to de-gas. Also available in 10 Shore A (RTV2410), 30 Shore A (RTV2430) and 40 Shore A (RTV2440).
