MG Chemicals 824 Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) wipes are multipurpose cleaners. The purity level of MG 824 meets Grade A standard for MIL Spec TT-I-735 and ATSM D770, ensuring that no contaminations are left behind when used as a cleaner. This product is compatible with plastics, seals, PCB components, paints, rubbers, and plant fibres. It is good at dissolving dirt and light organic contaminants as well as ionic flux residues. Since the 824 is anhydrous (without water), it scavenges water off surfaces, trapping the water in the IPA solution as an azeotripic mixture. This helps to dry surfaces thoroughly.
This product is used heavily in the electronics industry, great for the cleaning or coating of screen, stencils, fibre optics, cables, keypads, and particularly printed circuit board components.
