PipeBLAST, a new user-friendly Windows software program for detailed assessment of pipeline response to buried explosive detonations. The mathematical model implemented within the software application is based on multi-year research program and field tests conducted by the Pipeline Research Council International, Inc. (PRCI) and the American Gas Association (AGA).
PipeBLAST will enable you to:
Estimate and analyze pipeline stresses induced by blasting
Define requirements for safe blasting operation nearby pipeline
Analyze different explosive charge configurations, from single point charge to complex angled grid explosive charges
Set and run different allowable stress level scenarios
Included within the application is an integrated database of commonly used explosives
Included within the application is an integrated pipe database
