The MAF94431 is a miniature surface mount RF antenna designed for WLAN applications, specifically optimized for 2.4 GHz frequencies, including 802.11b/g and 802.11n MIMO. It features an omnidirectional radiation pattern and is compact, measuring 10mm x 3mm x 4mm, with a low mass of 0.11 grams. The antenna can be mounted directly over a ground plane, eliminating the need for additional keep space or board clearance, which simplifies system design. Performance specifications include a frequency range of 2400 to 2484 MHz, a nominal impedance of 50 ohms when used with the recommended matching circuit, and a VSWR of 2.3:1 with an S11 of -8 dB.
