The IM42NS is a through-hole mounted, 2-pole changeover signal relay with a 4.5VDC bistable coil, rated for 2A continuous current and 250VAC switching voltage. It features a slim 10×6mm profile with a maximum height of 5.65mm and a minimum board space of 60mm². The relay complies with IEC 61810-1 and is hermetically sealed for environmental protection. Contact material is palladium-ruthenium with gold plating, offering low contact resistance (<100 mΩ). It meets UL 508 and has a dielectric strength of 1800Vrms between coil and contacts. The coil power consumption is 100mW, and the relay supports a maximum switching capacity of 60W resistive or 62.5VA at 250VAC. Mechanical endurance is 10⁸ operations, and it operates from -40°C to +85°C. Moisture sensitivity is MSL3. The contact position may shift during transport and must be reset before use.
