The HFC5A is a double pole, electrically held, low-signal relay with a 5 A resistive switching rating at 28 Vdc, designed for continuous duty. It has a hermetically sealed, half-size package measuring 27.38 mm x 20.57 mm x 33.53 mm and weighs 13 g max. Operating with a 26.5 Vdc coil, it draws 1.4 W max at 25°C and picks up at 19.7 Vdc max at 85°C. Operate and release times are 6.0 ms max. Contact resistance is 50 milliohms max before life, 100 milliohms max after life. Vibration resistance is 10 G's from 10 to 500 Hz; shock resistance is 30 G's, 6 ±1 ms. Dielectric strength is 350 Vrms between contacts, 500 Vrms between contact and coil. Insulation resistance is 1,000 megohms min at 500 Vdc. Mechanical life is 10 million operations. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +85°C.
