KMT37 Magnetic Angle Sensor

The KMT37 is a magnetic field sensor based on the anisotropicmagneto resistance effect, i.e. it is sensing the magnetic fielddirection independently on the magnetic field strength for appliedfield strengths H>=14 kA/m. The sensor contains two parallelsupplied Wheatstone bridges, which enclose a sensitive angle of45 degrees.

A rotating magnetic field in the surface parallel to the chip (x-yplane) will deliver two independent sinusoidal output signals, onefollowing a cos(2a) and the second following a sin(2a) function, a being the angle between sensor and field direction
