The FCB-205 series is a hermetically sealed, polarized DPDT relay with a 5-ampere contact rating, designed for low-level switching and high-reliability applications. It features a permanent magnet drive for latching in both energized and de-energized states, with contact resistance of 0.100 volts initial and 0.125 volts at end of life. The relay is qualified to MIL-SPEC M83536/1 and /2, operates from -70°C to +125°C, and withstands 300,000 feet altitude. The BY3 variant uses solder pin terminals with a tin/lead finish and includes transient suppression for a 28 VDC coil. The enclosure is a flanged stud-mount type with cupro-nickel can construction. Maximum weight is 0.54 ounces (15.4 grams).
