The ED2 relay is a two-pole double-break electromechanical relay designed for severe-condition applications in rail, aerospace, and ground vehicle systems. It features a hermetically sealed, non-corrosive enclosure with dimensions of 26.0 mm × 26.0 mm × 25.7 mm and weighs 77 grams. The relay is built to MIL-PRF-83536, operates over a temperature range of -70°C to +125°C, and withstands shock up to 200g and vibration up to 30g. It supports DC coil voltages including 28 Vdc, with a coil resistance of 290 Ω ±10% at +25°C, and provides contact ratings of up to 10 A for resistive and motor loads at 115/200 Vac. The contact arrangement is 2 Form Z (2PDT, DMDB), with an initial contact voltage drop of 150 mV max and a mechanical life of up to 400,000 cycles.
