The KILOVAC K250 is a hermetically sealed high-voltage DC contactor rated for 250 A continuous current and 1000 Vdc switching, designed for bi-directional power switching in harsh environments. It features a single-pole normally open main contact and a single-pole double-throw auxiliary contact, with an electronic coil economizer reducing holding power to 5.2 W typical. The contactor weighs 180 g and measures 50.74 mm × 45.39 mm × 39.31 mm, with chassis mounting via 1/4-20 UNC threads requiring 50 in-lbs max torque. Flying leads terminate the coil and auxiliary contacts, each 381 mm long. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C, with a mechanical life of 100,000 cycles.
