Programmable power supplies (CVCC variable DC power supplies, DC power supplies) are power supplies that can be operated in constant voltage (CV) mode or in constant current (CC) mode automatically depending on load conditions within the range of voltage values and current values that have been set ahead of time. In addition to constant voltage power supplies, TDK offers programmable power supplies under the TDK-Lambda brand for various measurement applications such as those in testing, inspecting, experimenting, and researching. TDK-Lambda's lineup of programmable power supplies consists of the Genesys series suitable for 19 inch racks mounted and the portable benchtop-type Z+/ZUP series for applications such as researching, and all are UL-listed products with RS232C/RS485 in their standard form. The standard Z+ series now also includes USB and optional LAN.
