The KMS15A-9 is a 15W, PCB-mount AC-DC power supply with a 9V output, designed for medical and industrial applications requiring IEC/EN 60601-1 and IEC/EN 62368-1 compliance. It features 4kVac input-to-output isolation (2x MOPP), Class II double insulation eliminating the need for an earth ground, and operates from 90 to 264Vac with an input frequency range of 47 to 440Hz. The unit delivers 80% efficiency at 230Vac, with a maximum output ripple of 120mVpk-pk and no-load power consumption under 0.1W. Its encapsulated plastic case measures 52.5 x 27.5 x 23.5mm and is rated for operation from -40°C to +80°C, with a maximum case temperature of 80°C.
