The EZA2500W-32048 is a 2500W bi-directional isolated DC-DC converter designed for energy storage systems and battery testing, enabling seamless power transfer between a 48V battery side and a 260-400V grid side. It operates in a 1U rackmount form factor with dimensions of 422.8 x 43.6 x 400 mm and weighs 8000 g. The unit delivers up to ±52A on the low-voltage side and ±7.8A on the high-voltage side with efficiency greater than 92%. It features RS-485 remote control, overcurrent and overtemperature protection, and operates within a temperature range of -10°C to +50°C. The converter meets IEC/EN/UL/CSA/EN6095
An ordinary switching power supply is capable of performing power conversion from AC to DC, DC to DC, or DC to AC. On the other hand, a bidirectional converter is a switching power supply that realizes bidirectional power conversion between AC and DC, DC and DC, or DC and AC in a single unit. The EZA series produced by TDK-Lambda consists of bidirectional DC-DC converters capable of performing both step-down and step-up operations in a single unit. It can play the role of stepping down a grid voltage (320 VDC) obtained from renewable energy, etc., to a battery voltage (48 VDC), and the role of stepping up when reversing the battery voltage to the grid voltage in a single unit, thus offering advantages to the customers such as the reduction of installation space.
