The DC-DC converter is a type of switching power supply that converts direct currents of buslines into direct currents that are needed for devices. TDK has a lineup of DC-DC converters under the TDK-Lambda brand for the industrial equipment market boasting high-reliability and long service life made possible with advanced circuit designing technology and high-density mounting technology. The lineup of DC-DC converters by TDK-Lambda also includes isolated and non-isolated types to meet various applications along with onboard, power module and unit types and a wide range of industry-standard sizes from brick-shaped to inch-sized.

Featuring either 60 - 160Vdc or 14.4 - 36Vdc inputs, the CN-A meets the stringent shock and vibration requirements of IEC61373, as well as the Japanese equivalent standard JIS E 4031. A coating option allow the products to meet EN50155. Full power operation on all the converters is guaranteed across a -40 to +100?C baseplate temperature. All models, except the half brick 200W, have a quarter brick footprint and will withstand a 3kVac isolation voltage.
