The 402S series is a rugged, air-cooled, rack-mount high voltage power supply designed for capacitor charging and continuous DC applications with a rated output of 4 kJ/sec or 4 kW. It provides output voltages from 0 to 1 kV, with fixed negative polarity, and accepts 208 VAC three-phase input. The unit features a blank front panel for OEM integration, passive PFC with a power factor of 0.85, efficiency exceeding 85%, and comprehensive remote control via a 25-pin D-sub connector. It includes protection against overloads, arcs, overvoltage, and overtemperature, with stability of 0.2% per hour after warmup and a temperature coefficient of 100 ppm/°C. The chassis measures 19 in (483 mm) wide, 7 in (178 mm) high, and 17 in (432 mm) deep, weighing 65 lb (30 kg), and operates in ambient temperatures from -20 to +45°C.
