Set the insert in the hole and place the installation tip on the insert. As the insert warms, apply gentle downward press on the insert. The heated insert will melt the hole wall and allow plastic to flow into the insert knurls and grooves during installation. Once the insert is flush with the material surface, remove the installation tip from the insert. The insert will cool and the plastic will re-solidify, locking the insert in place.
