The Tallysman TW1829 is a GPS/GLONASS patch antenna designed for precision dual-frequency positioning applications. It operates at frequencies of GPS L1 (1575.42 MHz), GPS L2 (1227.6 MHz), GLONASS G1 (1602 MHz), GLONASS G2 (1248 MHz), Galileo E1, and BeiDou B1. The antenna features a circular, dual feed, stacked patch architecture that provides a peak gain of 4.0 dBic at L1 and 3.7 dBic at L2 when used with a 100mm ground plane. The TW1829 is equipped with a low-noise amplifier (LNA) that offers a typical gain of 26 dB and a noise figure of 2.5 dB. It has a low current consumption of 12 mA and is designed to operate over a wide supply voltage range of 2.5 to 16 VDC. The antenna also includes a pre-filter to enhance immunity against high amplitude interference from cellular signals.
