The TSM5NC50CP is an N-channel power MOSFET designed for AC/DC LED lighting, power supplies, and chargers, housed in a TO-252 (DPAK) package. It rated for a drain-source voltage of 500 V, a continuous drain current of 5 A at 25°C, and a maximum on-state resistance of 1.38 Ω at 10 V gate-source voltage. The device supports a pulsed drain current of 20 A and a single-pulse avalanche energy of 122.5 mJ, with a junction-to-case thermal resistance of 1.5 °C/W and a junction-to-ambient thermal resistance of 62 °C/W on FR-4 PCB in still air. It operates from -55°C to +150°C and is compliant with RoHS 2011/65/EU and halogen-free per IEC 61249-2-21.
