All Deuer blocks have a "hairpin" type removable cotter pin holding the clevis pin. This allows the sheave to be removied for rigging onto cable at any point, in the same manner as a snatch block. Oil impregnated bronze bushing, lubricated for life, is pressed into each sheave. Deuer Blocks are all steel and entirely bright zinc plated for maximum corrosion reisstance. All Deuer Blocks hav a minimum safety factor of 4 to 1, and the Standard working load (capacity) s stamped on each block.
