The H8SCM serverboard from Supermicro Computer, Inc. is designed for use with a single AMD Opteron 4000 Series processor (C32) and supports up to 32 GB of ECC/Non-ECC UDIMM or 128 GB of ECC RDIMM SDRAM memory. It utilizes the AMD SR5650/SP5100 chipset and features two Intel 82574L controllers for dual Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. The board includes six SATA2 3.0 Gbps ports for storage, supporting RAID 0, 1, and 10 configurations. Expansion capabilities are provided through one PCI-E 2.0 x8 slot, and integrated Matrox G200eW graphics are included. The H8SCM does not have IPMI capability, which is available in the H8SCM-F variant.
