The VN540SPTR-E is a single high-side smart power solid state relay in a PowerSO-10TM package, designed to drive resistive or inductive loads with one side grounded. It provides a continuous output current of 2.8 A, with an on-state resistance of 50 mΩ at 25°C and 90 mΩ at higher temperatures. The device includes built-in protection against loss of ground, shorted loads, overtemperature, and under voltage, with a fast demagnetization circuit for inductive loads. It features a digital input clamped at 32 V and an open-drain diagnostic output. The PowerSO-10TM package offers a maximum junction-to-case thermal resistance of 1.5 °C/W. The part is rated for a power supply voltage up to 45 V and operates over a junction temperature range up to 150 °C.
