The TSH511CFT is a dual FM receiver designed for infrared hi-fi stereo applications, operating within a carrier frequency range of 0.4MHz to 11MHz. It features a supply voltage range of 2.3V to 5.5V and provides high sensitivity with an input of 4µV at 12dB SINAD. Each receiver integrates a low noise amplifier (LNA), intermediate amplifier with external filters, voltage limiter, quadrature FM demodulator, and audio buffer capable of driving 20mW into 16 ohms. The device includes a squelch circuit for muting audio outputs and has access pins for flexibility in various applications, including multimedia headsets and FM IF receiver systems. The standby function allows for mono operation, reducing power consumption when only one receiver is needed.
