The TIP142 is an NPN power Darlington transistor in a TO-247 package, designed for linear and switching industrial applications. It has a collector-emitter voltage rating of 100 V, a continuous collector current of 10 A, and a total power dissipation of 125 W at 25 °C case temperature. The device features a monolithic Darlington configuration with an integrated antiparallel collector-emitter diode, a maximum junction temperature of 150 °C, and a thermal resistance junction-to-case of 1 °C/W. The TO-247 package has dimensions of 19.85 to 20.15 mm in length, 15.45 to 15.75 mm in width, and a lead spacing of 5.30 to 5.60 mm.
