The STA8090GATR is an automotive-grade RF receiver designed for multi-constellation GNSS applications, supporting GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, and QZSS systems. It features 48 tracking channels and 2 fast acquisition channels, achieving an indoor sensitivity of -162 dBm in tracking mode. The device offers a fast time-to-first-fix (TTFF) of less than 1 second in hot start conditions and 30 seconds in cold start conditions. This standalone receiver integrates an RF front-end and a low noise amplifier within a single die. It is powered by a high-performance ARM946 MCU operating at up to 196 MHz, with 256 Kbytes of embedded SRAM and an external SQI Flash interface. The STA8090GATR includes multiple communication interfaces, such as 2 UARTs, 1 I2C master/slave interface, and USB2.0 full speed connectivity, along with 2 CAN channels and a 10-bit ADC. The device operates within a voltage range of 1.6 V to 4.3 V for both main and backup supplies, with a digital voltage of 1.1 V to 1.32 V.
