The LNBP20PD-TR is a monolithic linear voltage regulator designed for use in analog and digital satellite receivers. It provides the necessary powering voltages and interfacing signals for LNB downconverters located in antennas. The device features a complete interface for controlling two LNBs, with logic-selectable output voltages of 13V or 18V, and the ability to compensate for voltage drops along coaxial cables. This regulator includes a built-in tone oscillator factory trimmed at 22KHz, facilitating DiSEqC protocol encoding. It has two supply inputs to minimize power dissipation and features a bypass function for slave operation in dual receiver systems. The LNBP20PD-TR also incorporates overcurrent protection, thermal protection, and backward current protection, ensuring reliable operation under various conditions.
