The L9942XP1TR is an integrated stepper motor driver designed for bipolar stepper motors, featuring microstepping and a programmable current profile. It allows for flexible adaptation of motor characteristics based on specific criteria such as audible noise, vibrations, rotation speed, or torque. The driver supports various decay modes, including slow, fast, mixed, and auto-decay, which can be programmed to optimize performance based on the current requirements. This device includes two full bridges capable of handling a maximum load of 1.3 A with a low RDSON of 500 mOc. It features a programmable current waveform with a look-up table that has nine entries and five-bit resolution, enabling precise current regulation through an integrated PWM controller and internal current sensing.
