L6728DTR is a single-phase step-down DC-DC controller designed for efficient power conversion. It operates with input voltages as low as 1.5 V and supports supply voltages ranging from 5 V to 12 V. The device features an integrated 0.8 V reference, ensuring output voltage regulation with an accuracy of ±0.8% across varying line and temperature conditions. The internal oscillator is fixed at 300 kHz, providing stable operation. This controller includes high-current integrated drivers and offers programmable dual-level overcurrent protection, as well as overvoltage and undervoltage protections. Current monitoring is achieved through the low-side MOSFET RDS(on), eliminating the need for additional sense resistors. The Power Good output provides real-time feedback on output voltage status, enhancing system reliability.
