The L6389ED is a high voltage gate driver capable of operating with a voltage rail up to 600 V. It features a driver current capability of 400 mA for sourcing and 650 mA for sinking. The device is designed for fast switching times, with rise and fall times of 70 ns and 40 ns respectively when driving a 1 nF load. It includes CMOS/TTL compatible inputs at 3.3 V, 5 V, and 15 V, along with an integrated bootstrap diode for compact design. The outputs are in phase with the inputs and are protected against cross conduction through an interlocking function and deadtime feature. The L6389ED is suitable for various applications including motor drivers, industrial drives, HVAC systems, and factory automation. It is available in an SO-8 package.
