Stafford’s new Micro-Adjustable Positioning Collar assembly lets users make bi-directional adjustments along a shaft to precisely center and locate components. The Micro-Adjustable Positioning Collar assembly features two knurled collars which clamp directly to a shaft and have a hub connector with 40 TPI threads that provides 0.0025” adjustability per full turn. Designed to let users lock one side and then move the other, this smooth operating positioning collar allows 0.5” micrometerlike adjustability in either direction. Featuring the Accu-Clamp™ square and flat bearing surface which is offered either fully machineable or hardened and ground, Stafford’s Micro-Adjustable Positioning Collar assembly is available in nine standard sizes from 0.25” to 1.5” I.D. Both sides can be locked or unlocked independently and since they screw into each other, they provide superior axial holding power. Features: Precisely center and locate components on a shaft.
