spinbotics Cobots Spinbot

Description
The Spinbotics SPINBOT is a modular robotic system with 1 to 7 degrees of freedom (DOF), making it highly adaptable for various automation applications. It has a payload capacity of up to 15 kg at 1500 mm reach and can extend to 2000 mm at 20 kg. With a repeatability of ±0.05 mm to ±0.1 mm, it offers precision for complex tasks. The working range is infinite when using an electric gripper, and the robot is designed with a compact footprint (170 mm to 275 mm), enabling efficient use of workspace. It also consumes approximately 240W of power and operates with low noise levels. The Drive Unit integrates a servo motor within a high-performance gear block and includes a servo drive with an embedded identification circuit. It features endless rotation, a safety electromagnetic brake, an internal media feed, and a dual rotary encoder. The modular nature of the system is supported by standardized mechanical interfaces, ensuring flexibility in integration. Additionally, passive Angle and Straight Connectors allow for internal media feeds for data and energy transfer, while an electronic identification system helps in automation and diagnostics. The Tool Connector is designed for direct end-effector connections, eliminating the need for external cabling to the control unit. It supports various effectors from different brands and uses I/O Modbus RTU for communication. The control unit operates with an intuitive graphical interface, accessible via a tablet or web app, and supports ROS control and C/C++ API for advanced customization. The robot’s IP rating ranges from IP54 to IP67, making it suitable for different industrial environments while complying with safety standards like EN ISO 13849-1, PL d, Cat. 3.
