The Spellman MPS15*10/24 is a high voltage DC-DC power supply module designed to deliver an output voltage of 15kV with a maximum output power of 10 watts. It features a compact design utilizing a hybrid topology of linear and switch mode power conversion, which ensures low noise and high efficiency. The module includes a differential amplifier input for voltage programming, enhancing immunity to external noise, and allows for output voltage adjustment via an internal potentiometer. The MPS15*10/24 supports both analog and optional digital control interfaces through a 15-pin D-type connector, with RS-232 or RS-485 communication options available. It operates within a temperature range of 0¬8C to 50¬8C and is convection cooled. The module is CE marked and UL61010-1 certified, making it suitable for various OEM applications, including photomultiplier tubes, electrostatic printing, and mass spectrometry. The unit is available in either positive or negative output polarity, specified at the time of order.

The MPS series are high performance products designed with Spellman’s hybrid topology of linear and switch mode power conversion techniques delivering lower noise with higher efficiency. The MPS series produces excellent ripple and stability performance specifications from a compact footprint. Additionally the MPS series features, as standard, a differential amplifier input for the voltage programming signal to improve immunity from external system noise and addressing any offset issues. Alternatively the output voltage may be pre-set by an internal potentiometer.
A fully featured remote user interface is provided via 15-pin D-type connector as standard and an optional RS-232 or RS-485 serial interface is also available. Spellman’s proprietary HV technology coupled with SMT circuitry results in an ultra compact and lightweight module that is available as either a positive or negative supply that is ideal for OEM applications.
