E3ZM Series photoelectric DC sensors have a built-in amplifier with advanced pulse synchronization to ensure continuous operation even in changing light conditions, such as artificial light and bright backgrounds. Intensive shielding prevents malfunctions due to inverter noise or wireless communications equipment. The precision optical system with high-power LED minimizes the risk of malfunctions due to dirt or misalignment. The electronics are fully potted to resist dust and high pressure water spray up to 1200 psi (83 bar). The E3ZM photoelectric sensors are made with a SUS316L stainless steel case and are extremely durable for the cleaning conditions of the food industry. They are designed with few indentations to eliminate dust and water collection and have no labels to prevent foreign matter contamination of food products. The E3ZM Series photoelectric sensors are space-saving miniature sensors powered with low voltage 12 to 24 Vdc with either NPN or PNP control output. These harsh environment photoelectric sensors are easy to operate and install, they are extremely reliable sensors and are available in throughbeam, retro-reflective or diffuse reflective styles.
