SMC Corporation of America Tubing; Nylon 12; 6.35 mm; 4.57 mm; Black; 33 in.; 1.5 MPa (Max.) @ degC TIA07B-33

Description
T⁄TIA Series, 1.5 MPa (Max.) @ +20 °C Operating Pressure, Nylon Tubing Nylon was developed more than half a century ago and is considered to be the first man-made thermoplastic available. Deemed a rugged engineering plastic, its properties make it depend on moisture for flexibility and will not become brittle or swell because of water. Therefore it has excellent low moisture absorption and dimensional stability characteristics. Nylon tubing for pneumatic applications is primarily made from Nylon 11, and more recently Nylon 12. Nylon 12 has virtually the same physical properties and performances as Nylon 11. Properties Dimensional Stability Low Moisture Absorption Elastic Memory High Impact Resistance High Thermal Resistance Light Weight Wide Temperature Range High Abrasion Resistant Good Flexibility Broad Chemical Resistance Specifications Temp. Range: –4°F to 140°F Max. Operating Pressure: 220 PSI (68°F) Hardness: Shore D 70
